Hi! My name is Emma Chiaravalli and I am an illustrator in Philadelphia. As you can probably tell, my last name (key-are-uh-volley) is Italian. Most of my family lives in Italy so I travel there a lot and pick up inspiration from the beautiful and interesting things I see. A lot of what I try to do as an Illustrator is create things different from the things you might see everyday. Even when I do draw from life, I try to reinterpret those things to make them appear more full of life, and vibrant. One of my favorite things to do when I am illustrating is creating unlikely combinations of things to give those things, otherwise boring things, a life of their own. These qualities help make my work interesting and eye catching to everyone, of all ages. I pride myself in being able to realize almost any idea I have, which is probably my favorite part of being an artist. No matter how strange, or different the idea I have might be, I will be able to execute it. Please feel free to contact me any time with inquiries about my work or commissions that you might like to create with me! Thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me!
